Harbor Capital Advisors to Liquidate Harbor AlphaEdge™ Large Cap Value ETF

September 18, 2026

Chicago – September 18, 2026 – Harbor Capital Advisors, Inc. ("Harbor"), a premier multi‑manager investment firm offering access to innovative and specialized expertise across a range of investment strategies and vehicles, today announced that Harbor ETF Trust's Board of Trustees has determined to liquidate and dissolve the Harbor AlphaEdge Large Cap Value ETF (NYSE Arca: AELV) (the "Fund").

Shareholders may sell their holdings of the Fund on NYSE Arca, Inc. ("NYSE Arca") until market close on October 15, 2026, and may incur typical transaction fees from their broker‑dealers. After the close of business on October 15, 2026, subject to applicable law, the Fund will no longer accept creation orders. Trading in the Fund will be halted prior to market open on October 16, 2026.

The Fund is expected to liquidate at the close of business on or about October 22, 2026 (the "Liquidation Date"). When the liquidation is complete, the Fund's shares will be redeemed. Shareholders who continue to hold shares on the Liquidation Date will receive a liquidating distribution of cash in the cash portion of their brokerage accounts equal to the net asset value of their shares. During the period between market close on October 15, 2026, and the Liquidation Date, shareholders will be unable to sell their shares on NYSE Arca.

In preparation for liquidation, the Fund's portfolio will transition before the planned Liquidation Date to all or substantially all cash, cash equivalents and debt securities with remaining maturities of less than one year. As a result, shareholders should no longer expect the Fund to seek to achieve its investment objective of providing investment results that track, before fees and expenses, the performance of the Harbor AlphaEdge Large Cap Value Index.

Shareholders who receive a liquidating distribution generally will recognize a capital gain or loss equal to the amount received for their shares over their adjusted basis in those shares if the shares are held in a taxable account. The liquidating distribution, if any, may be greater or less than the amount a shareholder might receive by selling shares on NYSE Arca before market close on October 15, 2026. Depending on its circumstances, the Fund may pay one or more dividends or other distributions before or with the redemption payments. Shareholders should consult their personal tax advisors about the potential tax consequences.

Important Information

Investing involves risk, including the possible loss of principal. Unlike mutual funds, ETFs may trade at a premium or discount to their net asset value.

Harbor Capital and its associates do not provide legal or tax advice. Please consult your independent legal counsel and/or tax professional regarding any legal or tax issues raised in this material.

There is no guarantee that the Fund's investment objective will be achieved. Securities markets are volatile and may decline significantly in response to adverse market, economic, political, regulatory or other developments. Equity securities may lose value because of general market conditions or factors affecting a particular issuer or industry. Value‑oriented securities may remain undervalued for long periods or may never realize their perceived value, and value investing may fall out of favor. Large‑cap stocks may underperform small‑ or mid‑cap stocks and may have less growth potential or flexibility to adapt to changing conditions.

Because the Fund seeks to track an index, it generally does not use defensive strategies during market declines and may be required to buy or sell securities at unfavorable times. The Fund may not track its index perfectly because of portfolio holdings, transaction costs, uninvested cash, valuation timing, legal or regulatory constraints, market volatility, or errors or changes in the index's methodology or data. To the extent the Fund or its index has significant exposure to a particular sector or industry, adverse conditions affecting that sector or industry may have a greater effect on the Fund
