Jason Alonzo

Jason Alonzo is a leader within the investment management industry with demonstrated success in developing and implementing investment platforms.  Currently he serves as Head of Portfolio Solutions at Harbor Capital Advisors, where he leverages his experience in building investment solutions and delivering exceptional results for clients. 

Prior to his time at Harbor, Jason spent over two decades of his career as a Managing Director – Portfolio Manager at JPMorgan Asset Management, where he was a founding member of the behavioral finance investment platform in the United States and amassed $21 billion in assets under management.  Jason was responsible for the development of the investment process and portfolio management of the U.S. large‑cap suite of behavioral finance products.  Jason was instrumental in the innovation of the product suite, which was primarily long only investment strategies, but the platform also included long‑short, market neutral, buy‑write and ESG strategies. 

Outside of his professional life, Jason is active in sporting activities where he serves as a coach for his daughters, avid golfer and runner, and owner of thoroughbred racehorses.  He lives in Saratoga Springs with his wife and two daughters.
